Epic Universe with a stroller — the parents' guide

Universal's Epic Universe is the biggest theme park to open in Orlando in 25 years. With five massive lands and long queues, a good stroller isn't optional — it's the difference between a magical day and a meltdown by noon.

Stroller size rules at Epic Universe

Epic Universe follows Universal's standard rule: strollers no wider than 36" and no longer than 52". This is more generous than Disney's 31" × 52" — but if you're doing Disney parks on the same trip, book a Disney-compliant model. Both our City Mini and Mompush Lithe X2 clear both parks.

Best parking for stroller families

Epic Universe uses the new Universal Boulevard parking hub, then a shuttle tram to the park entrance. The tram accepts folded strollers — practice one-hand folding before the trip. Preferred parking cuts the walk to under 5 minutes.

Should you rent or fly with your own?

For 3+ day Orlando trips, renting almost always wins. Airline gate-check destroys strollers, checked-bag fees run $35–$75 each way, and you land jetlagged already dragging one. Book a stroller for free MCO airport handoff and skip all of it — see our MCO airport stroller pickup service.

Where can I park a stroller inside Epic Universe?+
